LEMON AND HERB SAUCE CHICKEN RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2–3 tbsp cooking oil (or butter)
  • 1 cup Zesta Lemon & Herb Sauce
  • ½ cup chicken stock (or water, optional if you want more gravy)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1 - Cook the chicken

  • Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper (don’t over-salt since the sauce may already have seasoning).
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 2 - Warm the sauce

  • In the same pan, add the Zesta Lemon & Herb Sauce.
  • If you want it lighter, add a splash of chicken stock or water. Stir well.
  • Simmer for 2–3   minutes.

Step 3 - Combine

  • Return chicken to the pan, coat well with the sauce, and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Step 4 - Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley or coriander.
  • Pairs well with rice, roast potatoes, or even  pasta.
