Expansion through the acquisition of Kabazi canners in Nakuru, Manufactures of Kenylon – Tomato Paste, Baked beans, and Soups.
Acquisition of Carlton Products, manufacturer of the ever-popular Choco Primo Drinking Chocolate, Cocoa Powder and Energade Glucose. Other brands from Carlton products were Mamandazi and Golden brew.
Factory expansion, Kabazi Canners closed and all operations relocated to Jogoo Road. This brought improved efficiencies by “being under one roof”.
In line with the growing demand for Trufoods products, we invested in two state-of-the-art jam production lines and one for tomato paste production right from blending to packing.
Due to the diversity of Trufoods products, the slogan changed to “Life’s Variety.”
