For Paneer Pakoda:
¼ cup Zesta corn flour
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp crushed pepper
½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp Zesta soy sauce
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
¼ cup water
9 cubes of paneer / cottage cheese
Oil for deep frying
For gravy:
4 tsp oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
4 tbsp spring onion, chopped
2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
2 green chillies, slit
½ capsicum, green & red, cubed
2 tbsp Zesta vinegar
2 tbsp Zesta soy sauce
5 tbsp Zesta Fruity & Spicy Sauce
¼ tsp crushed pepper
¼ tsp salt
Firstly, prepare the Zesta cornflour batter adding spices.
Further, dip cubes of paneer / cottage cheese and deep fry in hot oil.
Fry the paneer till they turn golden and crisp.
Drain off the fried paneer onto a kitchen paper and keep aside.
Prepare the gravy by heating 4 tsp oil and sauté 2 cloves of garlic.
Also, add 2 tbsp spring onion, 2 tbsp onion, and 2 green chillies; sauté well.
Furthermore, add ½ capsicum (green & red) and sauté slightly.
Add 2 tbsp Zesta vinegar, 2 tbsp Zesta Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, ¼ tsp pepper, and ¼ tsp salt.
Saute on high flame till the sauce thickens.
Pour the Zesta Fruity & Spicy Sauce.
Add in the fried paneer.
Finally, serve chilli paneer gravy garnished with a few chopped spring onions along with fried rice.
