Zesta Guaranteed Cashback Promotion

The following terms and conditions apply to the “Zesta Guaranteed cashback promotion”. By participating in the Promotion, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility
This promotion is run by TRUFOODS and managed by CUGI (“Promoter”) and is open to all members of the public who are 18 years of age or older and resident in Kenya, with the exception of the Promoter and their immediate families, employees of TRUFOODS and their immediate families.

To participate, you must accept TRUFOODS and its partners’ terms and conditions and privacy policies.

2. Promotion Scope and Duration
This promotion will run from 15th April 2026 to 31st December 2026

The promotion will run countrywide.

TRUFOODS in conjunction with CUGI, reserves the right to change the promotional dates as it deems fit. Decisions made with regards to promotion dates shall be final and binding.

3. Promotional Products

This promotion will run on Zesta Jam 100g and 200g packs only.

4. Participation Mechanics
To enter the promotion, participants will be required to purchase a Zesta jam 200g or 100g promotional pack and open the pack to reveal the code inside.

Participants must dial the unique code *459*88# and answer the profile questions before entering their code.

Participation will be free to the consumer.

For each valid entry, participants will receive the response: “Code is successful. You will receive Ksh xx Airtime/Data.”

100g – Ksh 5 Airtime and 20MB Data
200g – Ksh 10 Airtime and 40MB Data

Consumers with queries on the promotion can contact the customer care number provided on the call to action on the pack: 0741539909.

The call centre will be operational from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday – Friday) and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. The line will not be operational on Sundays and public holidays.

5. Terms of Validity of All Entries
In the event that a participant composes a wrong code, a guessed code, or mistypes the code from the pack, the participant will receive a regret message indicating that the code is invalid and will be prompted to call the customer care line.

In the event that a participant sends a code that has already been used, the participant will receive a regret message indicating that the code has already been used and will be prompted to call the customer care line.

A unique mobile phone number shall be entitled to a maximum of 3 codes per hour and 6 codes per 2 hours. If a customer exceeds this limit, the platform will automatically hold the rewards until the entries are verified as genuine.

Blacklisted participants will receive the response: “Please call customer care at 0741539909 to follow up on your reward.” A blacklisted participant who calls in may be whitelisted by customer care after being asked a series of verification questions.

Once a customer is whitelisted and had pending reward, the reward will be dispersed directly to the participating phone number.

6. Use of Personal Data
To participate, you must accept TRUFOODS and its partners’ terms and conditions and privacy policies. By opting in, consumers agree to receive information and promotional offers from CUGI and TRUFOODS related to the promotion.

With the participant’s written consent, TRUFOODS may use the information provided for purposes including administering the promotion, marketing and research activities, fraud prevention, law enforcement, and other lawful purposes.

7. Disqualification and Termination
This promotion is offered at the sole discretion of TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI, which reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions or withdraw or terminate the promotion at any time. Notice will be issued in the event of such changes.

TRUFOODS reserves the right to terminate the participation of any person in the promotion with immediate effect under the following circumstances: detection of fraud or attempted fraud relating to a participant’s registration or entries; breach of any of these terms and conditions; or any other circumstances as determined by TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI.

If participation is terminated under the circumstances above, TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI reserves the right to take appropriate legal action and recover damages and other related expenses incurred.

8. Other Terms
TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI reserves the right to amend or adjust the promotion format, timings, and cash-back value to be received at any point during the promotion.

TRUFOODS does not require participants to send money, airtime, mobile money funds, or any other consideration in order to participate in this promotion. TRUFOODS will not be liable for any losses incurred by any person who does not heed this caution.

Although TRUFOODS has used reasonable efforts to ensure that all information and materials relating to the promotion are accurate, TRUFOODS shall not be liable for any inaccuracies or errors in such information or materials.

TRUFOODS, its agents, and sub-contractors will not bear responsibility for any loss or damage to a participant arising from matters outside their control including but not limited to force majeure events such as acts of God, computer viruses, or power outages.

TRUFOODS will also not be responsible for any technical failure or malfunction of machines, telephone networks, systems, service provider software, or any other issues which may result in missing characters in promotional packs or entries being lost, improperly received, registered, or recorded.

TRUFOODS will not be responsible for any unforeseen defects in promotional materials supplied or manufactured by third parties including but not limited to labels.

These terms and conditions are subject to interpretation by TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI and any questions or disputes shall be resolved by TRUFOODS in consultation with CUGI. The decisions reached thereafter shall be final.
