Sustainable Agriculture

In practice, we encourage and support our ingredient suppliers to drive continuous improvement in sustainable farming practices, based on our Principles for Sustainable Agriculture (PSA).

Our ability to deliver quality products requires a sustainable and secure supply of agricultural raw materials. We encourage and guide our suppliers to drive continuous improvement in sustainable farming practices. Our goal is to sustainably and ethically source key raw materials to increase the resilience of our diverse supply chain, conserve nature and economically empower local farmers.

Our Ingredients

"Our ingredients are carefully selected from numerous small-scale farmers in Kenya, for whom these crops are essential in supporting their families' basic necessities. We are dedicated to imparting valuable expertise including crop management, pest and disease control, irrigation, and post-harvest handling ensuring the prosperity of these local farming communities."

Our Tomatoes

Our Sauces are made from real tomatoes. Tomatoes are a rich source of fibre and contains a powerful antioxidant called Lycopene. Lycopene is good for bone health, helps improve cholesterol health, and helps protect against heart disease and certain types of cancers.

Emerging research suggests that many varieties of plums can be considered a “SUPERFOOD” thanks to their high level of antioxidants. The fruit is mainly cultivated in the central highlands in Kenya which offer the best-growing conditions for the fruits.

Our Groundnuts

Groundnuts have healthy unsaturated fats. They also contain protein, fibre, and minerals like magnesium, folate, thiamin, and vitamin B6. These nutrients are essential in maintaining heart health.
